Environmental Management System

Eco-efficiency is part of our management strategy, which seeks to combine economic and ecological efficiency, in the sense of producing more, using fewer resources, generating less waste and thus minimizing our impact on the environment. Chemyunion has implemented an Environmental Management System and this is our foundation for our strategic guidelines and environmental management program.

This system contributes to prevention and elimination of environmental contamination, as well as promote sustainability and eco-efficiency at all levels of the company. In order to guarantee that the goals are being reached, environmental indicators (KPI’s) have been established, focused mainly on the use of Natural Resources, elimination of sources of pollution, such as atmospheric emissions, effluents and waste generation.

Chemyunion has established the Waste Management Program, which is responsible for the management and final disposal of all waste generated by the company, as well as reducing consumption of natural resources, materials and increasing environmental awareness at all levels of the company.
